A New Day, A Fresh Start

Good morning Lord, thank you for today

As I open my eyes I just want to say

I’m grateful for all the things you have done

Especially for sending Jesus your Son

Each day is a chance to start anew

And to hear your voice, always on cue

To become who you have called me to be

You’re in the process of transforming me

I want to be who you called me to be

Signs, wonders and miracles to see

Here I am, my lamp is alight

As I wait for You to come into sight

While I am here on this beautiful earth

Help me to make the most of my birth

To live out the plans penned in my book

Written for me with love in your look
